Pineapple farms and Pearl Harbor

Today we took A&H to the Dole Plantation, which is a huge pineapple farm run by the Dole company a little north of Honolulu. We loved it here! We rode the Pineapple Express, which is a cute little train that goes for 20 minutes through the pineapple farms. Then we had to buy pineapple ice cream, of course! We walked through a cool garden they have, where we saw lots of plants and trees we certainly don't have in Seattle. We opted not to do the pineapple maze that they have here, because we figured we would lose our kids and have to return empty-handed.... :)

Last night we had a great dinner that the house where we are staying. It included all of my siblings, step-siblings, my dad/Katie, my mom/Charlie, and all 4 of us Langs. It was so much fun to have my whole family sitting around the table laughing... I love how well we all get along. We are so blessed by this family!

Yesterday we went to Pearl Harbor with my siblings... I think it is so interesting to see this part of our history, even though this particular part was kind of depressing!

Friday night was the rehearsal dinner before the wedding. We had a lovely dinner with about 30 people at Tiki's, a fun restaurant right on Wikiki.
