Hailey goes to the Mall

This week Greg and I have had the kids in separate cities.... He has been at home with Hailey, while I took Drew and Greta to our place in Whistler. It is quite wonderful to have the twins apart, as they get good 1:1 time with us, and they have nobody to pester them!

Anyway, Greg has been spoiling Hailey, (and giving her far too much sugar, I am afraid...) Here is an adorable and hilarious video he made of their trip to the Mall yesterday...!

Greta is CRAWLING!

Today is a big day in the Lang household! Greta is crawling now! She is so darn determined to make it across the room to whatever is drawing her attention.... and she fights with all of her might to make it there. I just caught her on video a few minutes ago.. and at this rate, she is going to be full-scale crawling in a matter of days. She is so precious because she has such focus and is so goal-oriented (just like her mama?), and just has to catch up with Big Bro and Big Sis. Look out, world! Here comes Greta Jane!

Off to the ZOO!

My mom and stepdad Charlie are in town, and we are having a fun time doing activities with them this week. This morning we took the kids to the Cougar Mountain Zoo, which is fantastic! We saw white tigers, lemurs, tons of colorful macaw parrots, emus, and lots of other animals. The kids loved it, and so did we!

Here is Drew next to the area with all of the parrots. They were all squawking like crazy, and he did NOT like all of the noise! He has sensitive ears like daddy!

Happy Half-Birthday, Baby Gret!

Greta was born SIX months ago today. Wow - I cannot believe how time flies! She is a delight, and I am in love with her more than I ever thought I could be. She smiles all of the time, and her face just lights up when you look at her and she smiles back at you. We are crazy about her.

She is days away from CRAWLING! She is growing up so quickly. You can see in the pic below that she gets up on all fours, and is about ready to move forward. She can move backwards, and so she can go from one side of the room to the other... just in reverse.

We did a professional photo shoot on May 30th, and have not yet shared the photos. This was before baby Greta was on the scene, so it was back when we were just a family of 4! But the pics are great. Greg just made a montage of some of the better pics, and set it to music. Hopefully you can view this okay. Enjoy.
