Seattle Seahawks win the Superbowl!!!!

We had a very fun party to watch the Superbowl, and we were THRILLED that our Seahawks beat the Broncos, 43 to 8!!!  It was an awesome game, one that we will remember the rest of our lives!  We had three other families over, which meant our house was full of fun green and blue foods.  We cheered loudly and we are so proud of our town!!!

Greta turns 4.5 years old

How can it be that our youngest is on her way to being five years old?   We celebrated her 4.5 year old birthday with her preschool class.  This was a fun school celebration which, of course, included cupcakes!    Her party also happened to fall on Seahawks Spirit Day, which was only three days before our winning Superbowl game.   Happy 4.5, little Gretty!  We love you!

A week in the snow

We just returned from another delightful week playing in the snow in Canada.  This week was particularly special because all three kids went skiing and even rode the chairlift successfully!   We had them in two full days of ski lessons and they loved it.  We had almost four feet of snow during the week we were there, so the skiing was really great the whole week.


Our other highlight was that we discovered the Whistler Snow Tube park, which was awesome.  It is so fun to watch our kids be so fearless!  Check out the great video Greg made with his new GoPro video camera.  It shows highlights of ice skating, skiing, swimming, snow tubing, and of course, skiing!
