My Big Bro's Wedding

Yesterday was a fabulous day for our family. My big brother Christopher married Lei Sato!! Congratulations, Toph and Lei!!! We are so excited to have Lei join our family. Topher is a professor here in Hawaii at Hawaii Pacific University, and Lei is originally from Japan. They had a lovely beach wedding, following by a lovely outdoor lunch downtown.

Andrew and Hailey had the wonderful honor of being in the wedding as the ring bearers. Drew carried out his duties with dignity and success, while Hailey seemed a bit distracted and tried to wander back to Mommy half-way through her duties!

Oh, you will notice in these pics that lil' Greta is missing! This, of course, is on purpose! We were lucky enough to have Greg's mom Judy agree to watch her for the week. Greta is just in that squirmy 14-month old stage of life where everything is soooo interesting! This means that she would be eating the sand, jumping in the pool (oh, and sinking), running around crazy during the wedding, oh, and squawking the entire 5-hour flight! Oh, how easy it is to just have the twins! We miss little Grets, but is is infinitely easier without her here. We will have to 'photoshop' her into a photo eventually!

Drew dutifully carries the ring pillow toward Uncle Topher.... as Hailey is captured in the background looking back at Mommy! I gave Drew a bribe about two minutes before the service, telling him he would get a new toy car if he did a good job. Oh, how bribery works!
