Mom and Dad go to Maui

We were so blessed to spend SIX glorious days in Maui in mid-January.  Did I mention that we did not bring the kids?  Oh, yes, extra glorious!  Our tag team of Grandma Judy and Aunt Jackie kept the kids in check while we were gone.  So we had a lovely time celebrating our tenth anniversary on the sunny shores of Hawaii!  


It was delightful to go out to dinner each night, have long conversation, snorkel, exercise each day, and swim with sea turtles.  Our two favorite events of the week were a half-day whale watching cruise we did, and also a one-hour helicopter ride over two of the Hawaiian islands.    We were refreshed and rejuvenated after a week away!  Now we need to plan our next vacation!
