The great thing about our pool is how many friends and neighbors we have who also belong there. Every day we go, we are surrounded by people who are so interested in our twins, and baby #3. It is a really fun community, and we are so blessed by it! Given that it is going to be 80+ degrees for the next week, you can find us there all this week!

Hangin' at the Pool...
Drew and Hails have a new favorite word: POOL. Our neighborhood pool opened 2 weeks ago, and we have gone almost every day. They love it!!! The baby pool is perfect for them, and they play with all of the toys in there for hours. Hails is also our little daredevil, and can just run and jump into the big pool, if someone is ready to catch her.

33.5 weeks... and counting
As of today, I am 33.5 weeks pregnant. And.. well, once you have given birth to premature babies, every extra day of pregnancy thereafter is a big accomplishment. So, little baby #3 is looking like she is A-okay, and on track to be a full-term baby. Yippee!
I had another ultrasound about 10 days ago, and at that point, they estimated her weight to be 4 pounds, 9 ounces! And she is putting on about an ounce or more each day these days. So, now, baby #3 is likely over 5 pounds! Wow. I am certainly happy about that.
I have 6 or so weeks left, and I am feeling good. I have started reaching the uncomfortable phase, though, and have had a bit of sciatic nerve pain this last week - yuk. But let's hope all continues to go well until mid-July. Thanks to everyone for good prayers!

A long weekend at the beach
We just returned from a long weekend at the Washington coast... it was delightful! We stayed at Seabrook, which is a new development full of adorable cottages, parks, and lots of good activities. The best part about the weekend was that my dear friend and college roommate Kathleen, and her husband, Mike, and their kids Maddie and Mason joined us for the weekend. (They recently moved from Texas to Portland, so it is great to have them within driving distance!)
So, our two families rented a cottage house together; it was right on this really beautiful park, which had campfires set up (for smores, of course!), and a great kids playground. Andrew and Hailey discovered the "seesaw" and were addicted to it. They keep saying "seesaw" even now here at home!
We played frisbee, flew our stunt kites in the strong winds on the beach, played with our sand pails, took the kids on their first bike-trailer ride, hiked in the nearby woods, sat in the hot tub, BBQ'd, and even managed to take a nap each day. The last day we were there, Uncle Robbie and Aunt Jenene stopped by for two hours to hang out with us, as they were vacationing nearby, too. We love the beach!

A celebration weekend!
This past weekend was a big celebration for the Lang family.. so we partied! We had a long list of things to celebrate, which all happened around the same week, so we had a party to celebrate all 7 things. So, you can see the pic below with a "7" on the cake, and our list!
Aunt Jenene gives Hailey a whirl. Hailey said "more, more, more!"
The list included: 1) Greg's bday and his sister Christy's bday, 2) Mothers' Day 3) Our 6-yr anniversary, 4) Grandma Judy's graduation from seminary (yea!), 5) Robbie and Jenene both getting accepted into graduate programs, 6) Drew and Hailey's second b-day, and 7) two new granddaughters coming soon (Greg's sis Julie is having a girl this autumn.)
On Mothers' Day, we had a lovely picnic at Volunteer Park in Seattle. The weather was great, and we played games and enjoyed the flowers. The kids loved having Aunt Christy in town from New York City (she surprised us!), and they loved time with Grandma Judy and Aunt Jenene and Uncle Robbie.
We love fabulous Uncle Robbie, Aunt Christy, and Aunt Jenene!

"No, Bro Bro, I will play with you!"
My 10-year Business School Reunion at Kellogg
The first weekend of May was my 10-year reunion at Northwestern University in Chicago, where I graduated from business school (also called Kellogg). Almost 50% of my class came back for the reunion, so I had a jam-packed 36 hours of seeing old friends, going to an all-day BBQ, a fancy dinner downtown in Chicago on the river, and laughing a lot!
I had the most wonderful, fabulous time, and it just reminded me how special those 2 years in b-school really were; I made really wonderful friends, and basically had many amazing opportunties and experiences. It was a big highlight of my year to be back at Kellogg!
(I was solo on this trip, leaving Andrew at my mom's house in Mpls while I buzzed down to Chicago for a quick weekend trip...see post below.)

Drew's Big Adventure...
The first week of May, Andrew and I took a very special trip to visit my family in Minnesota!! It was fantastic! As many of you know, I finished my job at RealNetworks the first of April, and I am now officially a stay-at-home mom. Yea! So, because I had some free time, I wanted to head back to my hometown to see all of my family there, before baby #3 arrives on the scene.
So, Greg stayed home with Hailey and they had a delightful time. Drew and I got to fly in a big plane (which he loved!) and I treasured the time with my parents and family. It was so interesting to have the twins apart; we thought they would hate it, but they loved it! They were so delighted to have FULL attention, with no sibling to get in the way. I don't think Drew cried the whole 5 days we were gone!
Here is Andrew fascinated with the airplane, the wing, the luggage carts, the lights, cars on the road, etc. I couldn't get him to move from this position for the first 45 minutes we were on the plane!

We stayed at my mom and stepdad Charlie's house - they gave him the 'royal spoil treatment!'

Out to dinner, with his new golf hat from Charlie.. and his car, of course!

While we were there, my mom had a brunch with several of our family friends, so that I could see everyone, and Nana could 'show off' Andrew...

We also spent a lot of time at my Dad and stepmom Katie's house. Here is Drew on a "hike" in Katie's backyard garden.

Andrew was obsessed with the fake dog at their house - he petted it and 'rode' it every time he passed by...

We had a big BBQ at my dad's house one night, so that I could see my aunt/uncle/cousins/stepsiblings... it was great. Matt and Robyn brought their two weiner dogs, and Andrew was in heaven playing with them! Finally, a dog that was just the right size!
We had the BEST time! But we sure missed Sister and Dada!
