Andrew can read! He is SOO good at it and I am so proud of him! I have been going through a book with the twins called, "How to teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons." Well, Drew has been teaching himself to read for the last several months, mostly by studying everything about cars! Check out these two videos where he reads a book to me.
Oh, if you want a really good laugh, be sure to watch to 1:35 into the first video. Ha!

Horse camp
This week I have had all three of the kids in a horse camp at Kelsey Creek Farm... our favorite place! They have loved it! Andrew even stopped me twice to say, "Mom.. I am having the best time here. I love it" They got to ride ponies, brush the horses, clean the hooves, put hay in the stalls, and feed the horses. Then a few crafts added it, and it was a successful week of fun!

Andrew's birthday at school
Andrew and Hailey's preschool class does a nice job of celebrating each child's birthday. This year, the twins were able to each have their OWN special day, and didn't even have to share the attention! They get to bring in cupcakes, plus give out party favors. Daddy even did a special show with the glow-in-the-dark yo-yos that Andrew gave to everyone. Ha! Don't you wish you could be in preschool again?
Here are pics from Andrew's celebration:

"Um, I may pretend that I fit in with these 4 and 5-year olds... um, but I still eat a cupcake like a 2-year old..."

To the Beach!
Last weekend we took our family of five to the beach community of Seabrook, WA. It is a delightful planned community full of charming cottages, parks, and great kids' activities. We spent the weekend playing at the beach, flying kites, swimming in the pool, riding bikes, and playing at the playground. We rented a house with our friends, the Kingsburys, who have two delightful young girls, so all of the kids had a great time together!

The day we arrived at the beach was also Greg's birthday. So, of course, a carrot cake was in order!
We put the hot tub at the house to good use!
