Thanksgiving with the Fam

We had a lovely Thanksgiving this year!  We had my whole family with us and it was a delight.  My parents flew in from Mpls, and my brother and his family flew in from Honolulu.  Kimmie was also here with our nephew JJ.  We played lots of games, took walks, played racquetball, and ate lots of turkey.  We have so many reasons to be thankful; what a wonderful blessed life we have!

Nana and her five grandkids!

Ready for Tom Turkey!
With my parents, my brother Topher's fam, and sister Kimmie's fam.

Enjoying daddy's waffle breakfast

Our niece Koko.  We are crazy about her - CUTEST thing ever!
We played some seriously mean Pictionary!

Cousins with matching PJs!  Greta and Koko....

Sorry, Tom.

Lunch at the Space Needle

I cannot believe that I have lived in Seattle for 13+ years and have only eaten at the top of the Space Needle twice!  I decided a few weeks ago that we would take my mom and stepdad Charlie there when they visited over Thanksgiving.  So, here are some pics of the lovely meal we had there.

The funny and slightly unfortunate news is that we were there on a day when a huge storm system was over Seattle.  The top of the Space Needle had 70 mph winds, so we were rockin'!  It was a little bit like having lunch on a boat!  We could see the rain blowing sideways and when we went outside to the viewing platform, we almost blew away!  We all enjoyed eating the yummy food and experiencing the "rotating restaurant" that gave us a view of the city over a 47 minute time span.  Very fun... but next time we will go on a sunny day!

I love this pic of my Hailey!  She is such a cutie.

Hailey and I were the only ones brave enough to walk the whole circumference of the outside deck.

Drew and the Seattle Car Show

As you all know, our sweet little Andrew is a CAR-LOVER.  This is an understatement.

Greg took him to the Seattle Car Show, where they saw all kinds of luxury cars, new concept cars, and plain 'ol American cars.  Drew loves every car the same and he will ooh and ahh over a Jetta just as much as he does over a Mclaren.  He was so thrilled to sit inside so many fancy cars, as you can see below. He came home from this requesting a new Smart car, a Chevy Avalanche, and new Mercedes.  Great outing for dad and son...

Check me out in my new Jaguar!

Just your run-of-the-mill Lamborghinis...

A Smart car.... oh, how smart!
"Do you think it would be inappropriate for me to have a Mercedes before Grampa does?"

A Bugatti Veyron.... this car is only a cool $2 million to buy...

This is an enormous truck, Dad
"Hmmm. Let's see... how many allowances would I have to save before I can purchase this Audi?"

The Mclaren.... one ridiculously fast car.

Drew's playground!

Halloween 2012

The pics below are self-explanatory! The kids had a delightful Halloween this year... collecting lots of candy and having much fun along the way.  Drew had a homemade robot costume, and the girls wanted to be cheerleaders (after going to a Bellevue HS football game)!  We had a great time!
