I am posting a handful of different videos, as I haven't done this in a while. I never feel like I can capture the cute little voices, gestures, and funny quips ENOUGH! So, here are a few, including a boat ride at my cabin in Wisconsin last month, a video of Andrew reading, a video of the girls playing, and three videos of songs Greta learned in preschool this week. Enjoy!

A great hike on Whistler mountain
Last week, I took the three kids to Whistler by myself; Greg stayed in Bellevue to work on a big project at work. So, we had a great time enjoying 80 degrees and sunshine on the kids' last week before school.
But, the highlight of the week (and probably my summer!) was the hike I took by myself on the top of Whistler Mountain. (Don't worry, Mom, there were lots of people there). I got a babysitter for five hours and then took the Whistler gondola to the top of the mountain. Once at the top, I stopped in the Roundhouse chalet for a few minutes, and then hiked on to a final chairlift that took me to the very summit of Whistler. (7,000 feet above sea level).
I hiked the High Note trail, which goes for a few miles around the top of the Whistler mountain. The best part is the fabulous view of Chekamus Lake, which is in the first pic below... it was breathtaking. I always love how much a fabulous hike in a stunning place like Whistler is so refreshing for my soul! I was in my happy place!

| These are the Peak2Peak gondolas that go from the top of Whistler mountain to the top of Blackcomb mountain, going 1400 feet above ground. Eek! |

First day of preschool, Round 3
Andrew, Hailey, and Greta had their first day of preschool yesterday! It was great and they all seemed to really love it. It was especially great for our sweet Greta, who was going to school for the first time. She said the singing was her favorite part of school, and then she proceeded to sing the same new song over and over all day long.
The kids are all at the fabulous preschool that is connected with our church and we feel very blessed by the great teachers and families there. Andrew and Hailey are in a Pre-K class with a lot of their friends from last year, and Greta knows a few kids in her class, too.
As for me, this is the FIRST time since my twins were born that I actually have FREE TIME without my kiddos (without a babysitter). I have two mornings a week free for this whole school year, which is going to be fabulous! YEA! What am I going to do with six hours all to myself each week??! Yippee! (um, NO, you don't detect an ounce of excitement in my words!! ha!)
