All-American Twins

Now that the Olympics are upon us, the kids have been wearing their USA gear. Here they are, clad in their matching team PJs.

They are both now training for the Olympics themselves.... (although they haven't yet finalized their choice of sport yet.) Expect to see them in either the 2024 or 2028 Summer Olympics, (at age 17 or 21).

Hailey is likely to be the gold medalist in Swimming. She has already taken to the pool quite well, and really kicks her legs when she wants to swim after her ball! So cute. Drew's latest fascination is with WHEELS. So perhaps that means he will win in cycling, which means he might win the Tour de France someday?

What? Me?

Greg's sister Christy is in town staying with us. She snapped this hilarious picture of Drew the other day, and we kept laughing about it.

Andrew is clearly saying "What?... me? I didn't do it!" And if you have spent any time with Drew, you will know that he has a particularly mischevious smile! I think he is practicing for later in life, when he will say things like:

- What? Me? I didn't steal the chocolate! Hailey did!
- What? Me? I didn't put a dent in the car bumper! Mom did!
- What? Me? I didn't pass gas. Dad did!

"I am perfect little Drew.. how could you possibly accuse this adorable face of any wrongdoing!?"

A great visit to Minnesota

We just returned from an 8-day trip to Minnesota to see all of my family there. It was a great week, and everyone loved meeting the twins. We had a party at my mom's house, another at my dad's cabin, and also had a get-together with some of my high school girlfriends.
We spent a few days at our lake cabin in Wisconsin with my extended family, which was great. We even found the time to decorate our boat and ride in the lake's July 4th Boat Parade, which was a hoot!

Pics from the lake:

Pics with my high school girlfriends, Liz, Patty, and Lisa... including one with all of our kiddos!
