Canada Day Parade

July 1 is Canada Day!  So, what better thing to do in Canada on that day than be in a parade!   We decorated ourselves and our bikes for the big event and rode through Whistler village with hundreds of other people.   The whole ride in the parade took us a grand total of 9 minutes, plus $35 of Canada décor!   The prize at the end was free ice cream for all participants.  It was a fun 80+ degree day, so hopefully the kids will remember this for a long time!

We love the Royal Canadian Mounted Police!

It’s not every day that you see a woman on stilts, in a big dress, playing the violin!

After the parade, we came back to our place at the Fairmont and enjoyed a Canada Day BBQ and carnival!
