Today was a special day for the Lang kids! They got to ride to school in a FIRE TRUCK! They were ecstatic!
Our fabulous neighbor Marie helped us “win” at item at the Bellevue Library auction; it included having kids get picked up at home, chauffeured around town for 30 minutes, and then dropped at school, all in a Bellevue fire truck. Needless to say, we all had a fun time. Greg and I watched the kids put on fire coats and such, and then they left without us! I met the kids at school a half-hour later to see the drop off.
We cannot say enough good things about Firefighter Ryan and Firefighter Nate. What an amazing event! Thank you, Marie!
