The highlights were meeting other kids, riding our bikes, taking a hike in the rain, rowing boats, swimming, campfire, and of course, the awesome food we had at each meal. It was a treat to get to know other families in our church, too. We will probably be doing this Family Camp for the next few years!

Family Camp–Labor Day 2014
Over Labor Day this year, we went on an awesome Family Camp with 13 families from our church. We stayed in open-air cabins at a Girl Scout camp that is about 70 miles from Bellevue. And yes, when I say “open-air,” I really mean that there are no doors or screens! It is like sleeping out in the wild, with just a roof over your head! The kids loved the whole weekend!
