Making SmilePacks at preschool

Today in Andrew and Hailey's preschool class, I went in to organize and oversee a service project.  The project was to put together "SmilePacks" for the organization Children of the Nations, where we send care packages to needy kids.  The SmilePacks included things like toothpaste, soap, shampoo, combs, washcloth, etc, and will be sent to kids in the countries where Children of the Nations has sponsor villages.  It was a great learning event for the kids, since these upper middle class kids have no idea what it means to be without the basics!  We prayed for the kids who will receive our SmilePacks, too.

The kids went through an line around the table and put items into ziploc bags to make the SmilePacks.

We made 30 SmilePacks as a preschool class... it was the perfect service project for 4-year olds!

Mrs. Sharon's 4-year old class.  We love 'em!

With my good friend, Sally, who was there to help me!

Hmmm... Let's see.... what was Greta doing the whole time?   Playing baby dolls in the corner!
